I'm leaving.

2 hours later... Back in the condo. I'm trying to pack enough to last me 2 weeks without having to compromise, but just about as much as is manageable, seeing as I traded in my ride home for a Christmas dinner that didn't push through. Thus the bus. So anyway, I'll be in Lipa for the next 2 weeks or so except for a day or two mid-Christmas break when I'll be popping in for a bit of a break with the barkading. See ya!

New blog. I'll never hear the end of this.

Yes, I now have a blog. After all the ranting over what it's for and how useless it is, etc. etc., I have been sucked into yet another trend (e.g. breakups with college significant others, Friendster, Meteor Garden, Lovers in Paris, et.al.). This is becoming a habit.

First day of Christmas break - Friday, December 17

I slept til late in the afternoon, took a shower, went to Cello's with Sands, Sara, Fats, Ness, Jennie, Mabel and Eva at 10 then I had a couple of beers with Sands in their condo. We had a great chat about high school, our friends, and -ahem- my current happy thought . Haha! No further comments. This may be incriminating. Anyhoo, nobody knows about this blog and I don't plan on telling anyone. It's just something to do when Yahoo's really slow.

Second day of Christmas break - Saturday, December 18

Chi left for the airport at 3am kasi her flight was at 5:20. Kri left around 2pm for her 5pm flight. Lorraine left 7-ish. As for me, I spent the whole day cleaning the condo for my additional 2 day stay. As Sands says, Ms. OC strikes again. Well, at least I'll be living in sanitary conditions diba? So anyway, I took a shower after a LOOOOONG general cleaning day, dropped by Video City to rent a few movies (Open Water, The Whole Ten Yards, Shaolin Soccer, The American President), then off to McDonald's to grab a bite to eat then off to my solitary existence, which is surprisingly fun. Open Water was a bad idea for a last movie before I went to sleep though, so I ended up watching The Whole Ten Yards and sleeping at 5am. I didn't see him today.

Third day of Christmas break - Sunday, December 19

So that brings me to today. It feels so weird to not be doing anything. Lianne texted nga earlier if I wanted to study in Starbucks. She was kidding, of course. ANYWAY... I woke up at 11:30 to watch Lovers in Paris. Hehe! I stayed in bed til early afternoon, finished my letter for Tito Iggy then went out to eat with Lianne. And now here I am. Not procrastinating. Just bumming around with myself on my last day in Manila before I head home. Being alone, literally, and figuratively, is surprisingly fun. No hassle. I do whatever I want without having to consult with anybody.

(Sigh!) Honestly, the only thing that I enjoy about law school is my barkada. I go to school to go out. I like studying and all but law school per se, minus the thought of the post-passing-the-bar rewards, is by no means rewarding nor self-fulfilling. So now I'm off to wherever. I'm probably going to jog. If it doesn't rain, that is. Might go out if someone asks. Keeping my fingers and my toes crossed. And I hope I run into him today. Oh yeah, by the way, clarification, I'm not talking about my former significant other. This is a new guy. It's so high school. Hehe! Fun naman kilig-kilig lang eh.

So that's it for now. Next update will probably be sometime mid-Christmas break when I come back here to get some stuff which I'm leaving on purpose to have an excuse to come back. Hehe! It gets awfully boring at home sometimes. I'm going to need a spike in my flatline.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
