Postscript

By the way, please leave your name if you're going to post a comment. Just so I know who I'm theoretically conversing with. Wala lang.

  4. I don't know about Tax ha, pero our ObliCon and Partnerships & Corporations classes with Batino were pretty easy. Seriously, no sweat. Hehe! He may have changed his style na though. We were the first class he taught kasi. Before, we just read the thin de Leon books for both classes. We had Santiago for Tax. We had to read actual cases, although super konti compared to law school load. For college law classes, I guess the thin de Leon books will do. (There are 1k++ hardbound versions kasi.) Basics lang naman. They're A LOT cheaper too. But if you want a more in-depth reference, try Mamalateo or Vitug-Acosta. Both are around 1k each. Mamalateo has 2 books, one on Income Tax and a tax reviewer. They haven't been updated though. The latest Vitug-Acosta naman is a 2006 edition, with the new VAT and DST laws na. Try browsing through them muna before you buy. Or if you have friends in law school, borrow na lang. Hope this helps. =)
